Cyrus was born to change the world. He was raised in the mines of Diemon as an orphan, and quickly became highly regarded by the queen for his retrieval of gems. When he stumbled on a hollow stone, his life changed when that very stone hatched to reveal the first dragon in centuries. Cyrus Wynter, orphan and reluctant hero, became the first Dragon Rider in nearly 800 summers. He marks the rebirth of the Rider Federation.
Cyrus's journey is forged by significant moments of redemption, self-discovery, and overcoming fears. He is a child of abandonment, but he is eager to find people he can trust, which has gotten him into trouble. He's befriended the wrong people, and made deals with powerful and dangerous figures, like Henry Junok. This will eventually catch up with him.
Despite how cruel Destiny can be, Cyrus has managed to get out lucky compared to the others. His harsh imprisonment that nearly killed him in Delion was salvaged by none other than Hyle and Alaric. The two will become iconic and destiny-altering people in his life. His gift with harvesting energy has been unleashed, and he is destined to become one of the most powerful Light Energy Harvesters in the Vore World. He and Sozar have been chosen by Destiny to rebuild the Dragon Riders and resurrect the Rider Federation.
Favorite Things: Flying, exploring, being reckless, and working in the mines. He has a deep appreciation for architecture, especially tunnel work.
Least Favorite Things: Confrontation, fish, royalty, and politics.
Sozar
Sozar, his dragon, is a fierce and loyal companion with an appetite for sarcasm. His heritage dates back to the Dalamyns, which is an ancient species of dragons closely related to the Soul Realm and Chaos. His mother, Aythen, was the one who destroyed the Rider Federation. It is only fitting her son, Sozar, would be the first and chosen dragon to help rebuild the Rider Federation. He, like all dragons, is violent but clever. His nature will flourish as he gets older.
Favorite Things: Hunting, diving, playing in the water, and sunbathing.
Least Favorite Things: Cyrus's constant ability to find trouble, rabbits, and volatile wind.
