DEMON KING
The sole heir of the Geral throne, he is the last of his bloodline. He is the fourth Energy Harvester ever to master an element of Dark Energy, and the only Harvester to manipulate fire.
He is soul-bonded to a Gor-Geíon after he was ambushed and assaulted by a group of men he later hunted down and killed. These men were also responsible for the brutal slaughter of the king and queen of Geral, his parents. Rumors started immediately that he was the one who killed his own parents for the throne. This would breed contention and political dispute amongst the citizens and council, exacerbated by his spiraling control.
Morei grew up hearing the story of the Demon King, a prophecy that speaks of a new era (Old Tongue: The Díanzon Prophecy, which translated to 'King of Monsters' and later evolved to 'Demon King'). With his hair color not being of his father's or mother's, he became the target of the gossip. The prophecy declares that the firstborn son who is gifted with harvesting energy will fulfill the role. What has been lost to history is that the bloodline would not just be royal, but that of demon-touched ancestry. More information will come as Morei is forced to face his bloody heritage.
Morei's destiny is to bring the Vore World to its knees. His decisions, no matter how thought out and filled with good intentions, will always result in destruction. He is power hungry, driven by control, and has a growing insatiable thirst for violence that is not only influenced by his connection with Dark Energy and a Gor-Geíon, but by his heritage. He is not who the world thinks he is. More importantly, not who he thinks he is.
Morei's complexity makes him a wild card in Destiny's game. While he is destined to bring war, he is also filled will positive qualities, such as his love to teach and his passion to protect the people/citizens (when they don't betray him). He wishes to see the best in others, but he is not blind to how cruel others can be. Despite his harsh outlook on the world, he has the ability to be the only one to salvage the world. But it will come at a cost.
