Former lover of Shevana, Zarek is a valuable asset to the Guardians. His knowledge of the Soul Realm goes beyond the normal, which will help Syra along the way.

He is cold, sarcastic, and not very good at sympathy. He has lived a long life of brutality and raised to believe that emotions are dangerous. Don't let that fool you though. His fierce loyalty is honorable, and he would be the first person to take a sword for those he cares about.
